1979年9月考入西安交通大学应用专业进入本科学习阶段，1983年7月本科毕业获得西安交通大学理学学士学位，1983年7月被分配到长安大学（原西安地质学院）基础部数学教研室从事数学教学工作。1996年9月考入西安交通大学计算数学专业攻读硕士研究生学位，1999年4月获得西安交通大学理学硕士学位；2000年3月考入西安交通大学计算数学专业师从李开泰导师攻读博士学位，2006年12月博士毕业后获得理学博士学位。
讲授过《线性代数》、《概率论与数理统计》、《复变函数》、《积分变换》、《矢量分析与场论》、《数学物理方程》、《高等数学》、《计算方法》、《常微分方程》、《空间解析几何》、《高等代数》、《专业外语》、《有限元方法》、《微分方程数值解法》、《矩阵论》、《数值分析》、《数理统计与随机过程》课程。
微分方程数值解法及其理论研究；
随机微分方程及其数值解法。
发表偏微分方程理论及计算方面的学术论文10余篇，先后在数学学报、数学物理学报、计算数学、Nonlinear Analysis: Theory, Methods and Applications, Journal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications等国际知名学术刊物发表学术论文7篇，均被SCI收录。
参与国家自然科学基金项目《同轴圆筒间旋转流动的吸引子及混沌仿真与控制》的研究。
